League Fundraisers

Alderwood Little League is a non-profit organization that relies on registration fees, fund raising, sponsorships, and concessions for our income.

Registration fees account for approximately 40% of the league's gross income. Registration funds collected support uniform costs, team equipment upgrades, field rental and field maintenance costs, and Little League fees.

Fundraisers (i.e. Raffle, Concessions stand, etc.) provide about 45% of the league's gross income

Sponsorships contribute 10% to our league annually which helps in supporting our teams. A sponsorship, such as the Grand Slam or Double Play, will defer the league's cost for a team. The income generated by sponsorships allows our league to provide upgrades to our complex, equipment, and facilities. Learn More about Sponsorships.

Is the participation in a fundraiser required?

Alderwood Little League relies on fundraising to help support the operations of the league. Player registration fees account form approximately 40% of the needed operating capital required for equipment, facilities maintenance and repairs, uniforms, etc. Alderwood Little League supplements player registration fees with league sponsors and fundraising. Each player, league age 4 to 12, is required to participate in the league fundraiser or pay a buyout fee at registration.

Photo Day

Annually, Alderwood Little League hosts Photo Day where teams participate in team photo and individual photos. Photo Day is typically the second Saturday of April each year, see the Calendar section of this website for the date this season. Participation is required by all teams.

Parents may purchase photos in advance or at Photo Day. Information on purchasing photos will be provided in advance of photo day.

Annually, our photographer, Remember When Photography, donates a photo magnet of each player to the league. This magnet is available for parents to purchase prior to the arrival of the purchased photos and is a fundraiser for our league.
